Burgs' new book: Beyond the Veil Burgs' new book, 'Beyond the Veil', has just been independently published by The Metteyya Foundation. It an autobiographical account of his journey throughhis youth in the West, his meeting with some of the most recognised teachersand masters alive in Bali, Burma and India, and his instruction in meditation, healing and alchemy as a yogi and a monk. The story integrates personal reflection, social commentary, and Burgs' insights into how the ancient spiritual teachings of the Dhamma stand in light of the new age movement and modern day Christian values, drawing together a broad spectrum of spiritual approaches that exist in both East and West and offering a succinct overview of the way in which they all may be integrated. Perhaps most importantly though it contains the heart essence of all the teachings that he received along the way and it is possibly the first time that such a depth of insight into the real mechanics of the spiritual process has been so clearly elucidated and made widely accessible. The book tackles profound subject matter with clarity and lucidity and is written by one who has walked the whole path.
